Why are you inspired to be of service in the world?
Because seeing the elimination of extreme poverty is more enjoyable than watching football or drinking Wild Turkey.
About Me:
After being raised by a pack of lions in sub-Saharan Africa, I decided to take up theater. When it became apparent that the lions weren't roaring their approval at my depiction of Hamlet and Evil Eye Fleagle but were merely considering the overtaking of a passing wildebeest herd, I reconsidered my career choice and took up book writing and editing instead. With that new career in place, I decided to spend my spare time practicing yoga, trying to help end extreme poverty, and re-watching the Chronicles of Narnia films.

Tell us about any Seva Projects that you are already involved in...
Along with accepting the OTM Cambodia challenge, I volunteer for New York Cares as much as I can, working with kids at homeless shelters and other assorted things. I also did a service trip to Zambia in 2006, and occasionally do what I can to build awareness of that effort.

Hey Neil,
Im moving to NYC in August... It is good to have a connection to the concious community before I get there :)
Oh yeah, and the pack of monkeys that raised me didnt love my acting career either, but they just sit around and pick things out my hair and look puzzled and indulge me. They are happy however, that I am going to grad school for something us humans really need... social work/community organizing. They just dont get what is so hard about getting us all together
:P

Deffinitely. I read the things people assume I wont and pick up on the things people assume others dont. Its part of my charm!
Best to you!
