- Why are you inspired to be of service in the world?
- I feel like I have to give back what has so freely been given to me! Things like compassion, acceptance, patience, time, love, tolererance, yoga, faith, hope...I could go on and on!
- About Me:
- I am 31 years old, single with an amazing dog named Jake. I own lakshmi Hair Studio, a conscious hair salon that focuses on community as well as beauty. I am also a yoga teacher at Dhyana Yoga. I have spent the last 7 years really doing alot of work on myself and traveling in 3rd world countries. Both have given me a new pair of eyes and new rules to live by. Yoga has been a huge part of this journey and has continued to open my heart. I feel grounded and full of gratitude these days!!!

- Tell us about any Seva Projects that you are already involved in...
- Nothing at the moment. My most recent project was raing enough money this holiday season to fund a local schools yoga program. It was a huge success and the children were very happy with their Christmas surprise. I volunteered teaching yoga at a Recovery Center for people recovering from substance abuse in the Spring. Every year I am involved with City of Hope and The Philadelphia Aids Walk... both are Aids organizations.
