Happy Friday Clive!

I realize you wrote this post a while ago, but I figured I would still reply and reach out!
Currently I am starting to build a Yoga program at Covenant House in NYC - transitional shelter for homeless youth & young adults (18-21). I am completely volunteering and the program has no funding, which is fine however we desire Yoga Mats! I only had 7 that I had accumulated through my practice, which I have donated. It is tough to get these youth to come to programs, but once they are there I want them to feel good about coming back.. and unfortunately some of them will say "oh well there aren't enough mats" . Of course we end up working through it (detaching) and working on the floor, but I would love to see if anyone has suggestions or ideas on who I could reach out to for donations of mats?? Even individuals that might have one or 2 they dont' use would help! Ideally we would love to gather at least 10-20.

The program is just getting started and mats or no mats... it is a space that these youth can experience non-judgment, compassion, community and self-love....very rare things in their stressfull lives on the streets of New York.
